kizikula brings two properties together under one management team and an integrated guest experience. SAHAAB holds non-exclusive booking rights outside Tanzania and is the contracting party for guest bookings.

information we use.

• enquiries and arrangements. information you send us, such as your name, contact details, dates and requests, helps us respond and plan your stay. only share dietary, health or accessibility information that is needed for your request.
• bookings and payments. Cloudbeds provides our booking engine and reservation system. its checkout collects guest and reservation details; payment information is handled through the checkout’s payment services, including Stripe where used. do not email card details to us.
• website operation. our hosting provider, Vercel, receives connection and device information when delivering the site. the booking page uses third-party services to display availability and process your booking.
• optional measurement. when permitted, our website analytics measures pages visited, selected interactions, active time and booking steps. purchase measurement includes the booking reference, value and currency. our own analytics sender does not send guest names, email addresses, phone numbers or card details.

analytics & your choices.

our website offers analytics only, analytics with ad measurement, or no optional measurement. Google Analytics helps us understand visits and completed bookings. ad measurement additionally uses Google ad-click identifiers to connect visits and bookings with advertising. the current website setup does not enable personalised advertising.

the website’s choice and campaign context are kept in this browser tab for up to 30 minutes. this is not a promise that Google cookies or collected records expire after 30 minutes. you can change or withdraw your choice using visit preferences below. withdrawal stops future events from our website sender; it does not itself delete records already received by providers. the embedded and separately hosted booking services have their own tracking technologies and notices. website preferences do not control all provider tracking.

functional search dates and guest counts can appear in the booking URL so that you can refresh or open the separate booking window. our date-recovery code does not save guest names, payment details or the contents of your booking form.

service providers & sharing.

the services involved in the current website and booking flow include Vercel, Cloudbeds, Stripe and Google Analytics. we share reservation information with the accommodation team to arrange your stay. service providers may process information outside your country, including in the UAE, Tanzania and countries where their systems operate. contact us for information about the safeguards applicable to your data.

external links to music, video, maps and social channels take you to those services. on the culture page, Mixcloud’s radio player, Vimeo and YouTube videos, and Telegram posts load automatically as you scroll to them. these services receive connection information and may use cookies. the YouTube players use privacy-enhanced mode. visit preferences control our own measurement and advertising choices, not these embedded services. self-hosted films do not load these providers.

booking calendar cookies.

we load the embedded Cloudbeds calendar only when you choose “allow cookies & view rooms”. Cloudbeds loads Google Analytics and Meta tracking, which receive connection and device information and booking-page activity and use cookies for analytics and advertising. this choice is separate from our website measurement preferences and newsletter sign-up.

permission lasts for this page only. use “booking cookie preferences” above the calendar to stop tracking and reload; search dates are kept, but room selections and guest details are cleared. this removes known first-party Google and Meta tracking cookies accessible to our site; it cannot erase data already received or cookies on another provider’s domain. you can also manage those in your browser. you can enquire and book through WhatsApp or email without loading the calendar. opening the separate Cloudbeds booking website is governed by that website’s own controls.

marketing choices.

SAHAAB runs newsletters and promotional emails for kizikula. you can opt in during the Cloudbeds reservation flow; signing up is optional. newsletter consent and website analytics or ad-measurement permission do not authorize using your contact details for personalised advertising.

our contact-list advertising audience feature is currently disabled. we do not upload your contact details to advertising audiences through this website. any future audience use will require a separate choice.

purposes, retention & security.

we use information to respond to enquiries, arrange and administer bookings, provide requested services, keep required business records, protect the website and, with permission, measure visits or send marketing.

we use booking and enquiry information to take steps you request and perform our contract with you. we keep records required by law and use necessary operational information for our legitimate interests in securing and running the service. optional measurement and promotional emails rely on your permission.

we retain enquiry information while responding and arranging your stay. booking and payment records are retained for the applicable accounting, tax and legal-claim periods. marketing information is used until you withdraw permission; a limited suppression record may be kept to honour that choice. retention also depends on unresolved requests, disputes and legal obligations. contact us for the period applicable to a particular record.
